El Al announced today that direct flights to Tokyo will resume as early as March 6, after being halted in October. It is important to note that the flights were supposed to stop in any case during the month of November, but El Al brought forward the temporary cessation of flights slightly. Now, El Al is announcing that beyond the fact that direct flights to Tokyo will return, they will be annual and not seasonal, and will also operate during the winter months.
