Bank Leumi recently completed a strategic process that lasted several months, during which its benefits program, Goodies, was significantly upgraded.
The main innovation in the new program is that it allows all Bank Leumi customers holding Leumi bank credit cards to purchase benefits, without the need to accumulate points or a minimum amount of expenses on their credit card, as in the past.
Leumi notes that at the end of staff work conducted by the bank, it was decided that the conditions of eligibility for benefits in the club will be significantly fulfilled, so that unlike other benefits clubs, there is no longer a need to accumulate points or spend a minimum monthly on the credit card. In other words, every national customer who holds a bank credit card is entitled to all the benefits from the first moment. Until now, only customers who had accumulated points were eligible for benefits, depending on the amount of their expenses.
The benefits are offered at dozens of leading businesses and brands in Israel in a variety of popular categories, such as cinemas, home brands, fashion brands for the whole family, food chains and restaurants. In addition to the benefits offered, the expanded plan offers fixed discounts at leading businesses in Israel, including retail chains.
The total cost of the expanded program is estimated at tens of millions of shekels. The perks and fixed discounts at the time of billing have begun to be uploaded in a phased manner to the Program website, and over the coming weeks and months, many additional benefits and discounts are expected to join the inventory that will fully complement the Rewards Program.
Leumi says that "there are no asterisks" and that this is a strategic decision to make the benefits program attractive for all customers, and not just for those who spend a lot on credit cards.
