In this activity, the police arrested three suspects in three separate incidents. In the first case, a 37-year-old Palestinian from Ramallah, in the second a 20-year-old Palestinian from Ramallah, and in the third, Ratin, 16, from Jericho. The three will be brought before a court for a hearing on extending their detention.

Last night, around midnight, the police received a report from the Ituran hotline about a vehicle stolen from the Kiryat Yovel neighborhood of Jerusalem and found near the Hizma crossing while driving. The suspect vehicle drove past the crossing, endangering the forces at the scene.

Police forces and representatives of the locator company tactically prepared to stop the vehicle and the suspect driving it on the road towards Ramallah. During this activity, an off-duty policeman passed by and noticed the teams of the Ituran company, whom he knows from his work, and stopped his vehicle in order to assist.

A short time later, the forces noticed the suspect's vehicle coming towards them with police detectives following it, and the suspect suddenly stopped and abandoned the stolen vehicle and began fleeing on foot towards the nearby wadi.

At this point, the officer and detectives from the Lev HaCapital stations chased and tried the suspect until they apprehended him. The suspect was taken for interrogation at Moriah Station, where it turned out that he was an illegal alien, without a driver's license and during a period of disqualification imposed on him by the court.

In another incident, during an activity at the Moriah police station in the early morning hours, they noticed a vehicle they suspected was stolen from the Malha neighborhood on Golomb Road in Jerusalem. The officers pushed the vehicle that tried to flee, hitting a police car and a passing vehicle. As a result, a policeman and a civilian were injured in light condition and required medical treatment. The suspect (16, Jericho) was detained by the policemen and taken for interrogation at Moriah police station.

In another case in which a vehicle allegedly stolen from south Jerusalem was located, the suspect began driving recklessly, endangering road users while driving in the opposite lane and hitting a passing vehicle, police forces and Border Police patrols who acted to stop the suspect's escape and were forced to shoot at the tires of the vehicle due to the danger to their lives, which led to his stop. The suspect (20, a Palestinian from Ramallah) was arrested and taken for interrogation at Moriah Station.
