According to medical officials, the victim was critically shot near his home and evacuated independently to Assaf Harofeh Medical Center, where he was later pronounced dead.

The police began searching for the perpetrators of the offense, along with forensic investigators collecting findings at the scene as part of an investigation. Central District Commander Major General Avi Biton conducted a special assessment of the situation at the scene with the District Command and the Shfela Region, in which they reviewed the findings collected so far, in terms of intelligence, investigations and analysis of the scene and its surroundings.

At the end of the assessment of the situation and in accordance with the initial findings, Bitton decided to reinforce forces and intensify focused enforcement against crime generators on the Arab street, for the sake of law-abiding public safety and security.
