True Detective: Night Land

HBO's critically acclaimed suspense anthology returns for a fourth season, once again presenting a whole new story.

In the new season, detectives Liz Danvers (Oscar winner Jodie Foster, in her first major television role) and Evangeline Navarro (boxer Callie Rice in a surprising role) investigate the disappearance of eight scientists from an Alaskan research station, six years after working together on a serious murder case. As they try to find out who is behind the scientists' disappearance, they will uncover the secrets of the town in which they live and the internal tensions between its residents, and, of course, deal with the impact of the investigation on their personal lives.

Ted

An anticipated prequel series to the two successful blockbusters of the same name. The series was created by Emmy winner Seth MacFarlane, creator of Family Guy and American Dad (who directed the duo), who returns to voice the wild toy bear character who comes to life. It takes place in 1993, when Matty (originally played by Mark Wahlberg) was a high school student, who of course got into quite a bit of trouble with other students.

From robberies to fateful surgeries to a love story with the governor's daughter, this is a story about renewal, betrayal, redemption and love – all with a particularly surprising twist.

Iron Swords led to a rethinking of the composition of the works in this a cappella performance, which changed part of the repertoire to suit the current era. The ensemble will be led by conductor Yuval Weinberg, conductor and music director of the Stuttgart Broadcasting Authority Choir and the Eurochoir European Youth Choir.

Animal Farm

On the occasion of the anniversary of the death of writer George Orwell, the one-man show starring Nir Manki returns to the stage - and will be accompanied by a heated discussion with the audience afterwards.

This socio-political satire, a remake of the classic 1945 novel, tells the story of rebellion, independence and governmental entanglement on the farm, where the animals were freed from the farmer's yoke and instituted self-government. In his work, Orwell wrote a political parable that continues to kick and be relevant today, about the intoxication of power and the potential for corruption that power brings, and about the powerful power of propaganda.

SKYSCRAPER

The soundtrack of Renee Sheinfeld's dance show consists of songs she wrote, read and recorded, and works by the Israeli composer who works in New York Ari Frankel. In the dance, Sheinfeld uses props such as newspapers, which bring politics to the stage, a whistle, which hints at an alarm or cry for help, and sand, which symbolizes the passage of time. Another work that will be presented in the show is "Once Upon a Nights", choreographed by her with the creative dancers Joanna Ofer, Ayala Yaakov, Lena Rickner, Denise Klein and Dorit Kochavi.

Exhibitions

Pairs

Six artists will collaborate in three duos in an intriguing exhibition that will combine traditional Japanese woodblock print artists with contemporary artists from Japan and Israel.

The exhibition will feature works by Otagawa Hiroshige, active in the 19th century, depicting the beauty of Japan; of the eccentric artist Otagawa Konyoshi (also active in the 19th century), known for his depictions of warriors and caricatures; of Israeli Reuven Kuperman and Yael Balaban, and more. The exhibition will also include special creative spaces and activities for the whole family - for example, creating woodblock prints using the traditional Japanese method.

Pending

Studies of time perceptions have shown that many events, as well as situations of frustration, boredom, danger or waiting, prolong the sense of time, sometimes quite extreme.

Since October 7, when the infinite continuum was "interrupted" and time "stopped," life as we knew it seemed to be put on hold. In a new group exhibition, participating artists will present various works, most of which relate directly or indirectly to the same Black Sabbath. Among the artists participating in the exhibition are Olga Kundina, Boaz Noy, Tal Shohat, Zoya Cherkassky, Kerem Natur, Roni Lande, and many others.

Corrosion

Artist Philippe Bolkier's solo exhibition, whose opening was postponed due to the war, takes on new meaning in the current era, in terms of an identity crisis and a conceptual disintegration of what was hitherto understood and safe for all of us.

The exhibition presents works by Bolkiah from recent years, including paintings and sculptures. These echo thoughts on the concepts of time and erosion, through the symbolic use of rust as a recurring motif that characterizes the body of work presented.
