Yisrael Beiteinu Chairman MK Avigdor Lieberman said Sunday morning that "we need to form a new cabinet that can work together." His comments come after Defense Minister Yoav Galant angrily abandoned the War Cabinet meeting last night because his aide was prevented from attending.
"I don't remember anything like this in Israel's history when the defense minister abandoned the War Cabinet during the campaign. It's a low we've never been to. As far as I'm concerned, this cabinet can no longer lead the people of Israel," Lieberman said in an interview with Kan Reshet Bet.

The Prime Minister's Office said that it had been agreed in advance that the discussion would take place without personal aides, but Galant's circle accused it of "politics," since he claimed there were other aides to the prime minister and National Security Council head Tzachi Hanegbi in the room. After about an hour, Gallant returned and entered the cabinet meeting.
Galant's decision yesterday to leave the discussion comes amid reports of tension between him and the prime minister, including reports that Netanyahu instructed the heads of the Mossad and Shin Bet not to meet with the defense minister for discussions that are not shared by cabinet members.
