Maya Wertheimer opened the camera last night (Sunday) and spoke in an Instagram column about the mixed emotions she felt for the fourth birthday celebrations of her eldest daughter Asia.
Wertheimer described great joy alongside great sadness, due to the fact that Kafir Bibs, the baby kidnapped by the terrorist organization Hamas on October 7, is still being held captive.
She later shared the messages sent to her by Kafir's family following the video in question.

"I have to be honest that I keep thinking about the birthday and I'm crazy excited. And yet, and I know it's terrible, I can't look at the pictures of Asia and not think of an infidel who has just celebrated a year in captivity. It's killing me," Hanuka said with tears in her eyes.
"And I seem to feel everything together, all the excitement and sadness. What an imaginary world."
In the background of the video, Wertheimer added in writing: "But how terrible it is that you can't look at my daughter without thinking about the baby infidel who 'celebrated' a year in captivity and my heart breaks and I feel screwed up and that everything is screwed up. One moment I'm really happy and the next moment I'm just very sad. I'm fed up From this fucked-up reality which seems to be some kind of denial in order to manage, but the truth is that there is simply a hole inside our hearts."

This (Monday) morning, Wertheimer told about the Biebs family's reaction to her moving video.
"Let you know that yesterday several members of the Biebs family wrote to me personally after this story that I have to celebrate, and it even more finished me that they are such hearts and how important it is to them that we be strong alongside the pain."
