London - Kate, Princess of Wales, 42, was admitted to hospital for abdominal surgery on Tuesday, January 16.
According to Kensington Palace, which relies on information from doctors, the operation went well.
Nevertheless, the princess now has to stay in the clinic for ten to 14 days.
Conversely, this means that she cannot look after her children at home.
However, her husband Prince William (41) is receiving help from reliable sources.
