Istanbul – An attack against an Istanbul courthouse is reported in Turkey.
According to Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya, two people attacked the main court building in Caglayan shortly before 12 p.m. (local time) on Tuesday (February 6).
The attack was on a police checkpoint, he said on the short message service X (formerly Twitter).
The attackers - members of the banned Marxist-Leninist DHKP-C organization - had been neutralized, he also said.
