The fire brigade divers recovered a body inside the Nissan van that ended up two days ago in Bacchiglione, in Bovolenta, in the Padua area.
The body was brought to the surface a short while ago by divers and is presumed to be that of Alberto Pittarello, the 39-year-old suspected of stabbing his wife Sara Buratin to death last Tuesday, although at the moment there is no official confirmation.
The fire brigade divers managed to lower themselves into the Bacchiglione and hook the van which sank into the river two days ago in the Bovolenta area, in the Padua area.
