The body recovered in the Bacchiglione river is that of Alberto Pittarello, the 39-year-old who stabbed his wife, Sara Buratin, to death three days ago in Bovolenta.
The confirmation comes from the Carabinieri of Padua.
The recognition was made at the morgue by the family.
According to what has been learned, no traces of wounds were found on his body and the hypothesis is that he died by drowning.
However, the autopsy will clarify the cause of death.
