Shortly before Christmas, the regulars' brothers from the Herrschingen "Himmelsstürmer" visited their striker Hubert Herbinger (69), who has been confined to a wheelchair for years, in the Gilchinger Rotkreuzhaus. It was the reunification of the team that had once made it through the C-Class and had moved up to the Landesliga in 1972.
Herbinger's Christmas wish: With the "Heavenly Stormers" to Andechs
"I would love to have a beer with you in Andechs," Herbinger revealed to his ex-team-mate in tears in December. The old friends didn't have to think long. Willi Welte immediately promised: “A matter of honor, Hubert. We'll take you to the next meeting. ”The heroes of 1972 kept their word. They invited the former soccer player and ice hockey player on his first trip from the old people's home.
Herbinger welcomes Welte to the Holy Mountain, where the former teammates are already waiting in the Bräustüberl. Hans-Peter Haberkorn is there, goalkeeper Dieter Obermeier, Helmut Pestinger, Hacky Köhler, Rudi Fuchs, Werner Hager, the former TSV defender and goalkeeper of the ESV, and from Dießen Hans Grötz, who was many before the times of the "sky striker" Had played in Herrsching for years.

Herbinger wants to go back to the Holy Mountain for his 70th birthday
Herbinger had one question before that: “It was so nice with you.
