There are no newcomers to the SVA Palzing, but the team of coach Sepp Summerer is ambitiously preparing to prepare.

Palzing - A day later than planned, SVA Palzing started preparing for the remaining season in the district league. Because of the storm "Sabine" coach Sepp Summerer postponed the training start to Tuesday evening. He didn't take his footballers too hard in the first session: "It was about having fun and getting back in," says the 64-year-old. However, this will change in the next few weeks: “We have to prepare well and intensively to keep the class. We want to improve ourselves in a playful way - and of course it's easier if the fitness is right. ”

Stefan Reiser is out

Summerer welcomed 19 players - there are no newcomers - to the first training session of the year on the Palzinger natural grass field. “The focus was on the ball work. We played a few games. The boys were ambitious, I liked that, ”emphasizes Summerer. Only Onur Tas, who had four wisdom teeth removed, Tobias Wirth (flu) and the injured Stefan Reiser were missing. “Onur will attack on Thursday. With Stefan it will still take a while. He has a severe thigh muscle injury, ”the coach reports. And further: "It is a shame for him. He is young and could have shown himself in preparation. "

The kickers on the pitch were in good fitness. “We met four times during the winter break and then ran about an hour and eleven or twelve kilometers each,” says Summerer. “We varied the routes so that it doesn't get boring. For example, I went up and down from Palzing to Haindlfing, where I live, ”says the SVA trainer. Louis Goldbrunner was the hard-working: he was the only one from the SVA squad to take each of the four units with him. "Louis is very ambitious," said Summerer about the 19-year-old midfielder.

Game at FC Alte Haide is extremely important

In the first training session, he did not yet benefit from the basic endurance advantage that Goldbrunner achieved. The focus was too much on working with the ball. "But when it comes to the stress phase, he will be happy," says Summerer. One who has to struggle more than others is Thomas Kaindl. “Thomas needs a bit more work. He was on vacation for three months and had a good time. But he will be fit for the start of the game. ”Kaindl has until March 21st to get in shape.

Then the Palzinger start the remaining season at FC Alte Haide. This game is extremely important because the SVA goes from relegation zone 14 into the final spurt. Alte Haide is three points ahead with three more points. Until then, four test games are scheduled: The game starts on Sunday at SV Marzling's artificial turf with the game against BC Attaching (3:30 p.m.).
