The Peißenberg "ice hackers" want to continue playing: To move into the pre-play-offs of the Bayernliga, however, they need help from the rifle - including from Schongau.
Peißenberg - Are you going on vacation or in the pre-playoffs? This question will be answered for the Peißenberg "ice hackers" this weekend. In order to force a season extension, coach Simon Mooslechner's men need victories in the away game at ESC Dorfen (Friday, 8 p.m.) and in the home game against EHC Königsbrunn (Sunday, 5:30 p.m.).
At the same time, the Peißenbergers also need help from Schongau and Pfaffenhofen. Because only if these teams score against the "River Rats" of the ESC Geretsried will the "ice hackers" have the chance to advance to second place. The top two in the relegation round then compete against the worst two in the promotion round in pre-play-offs.

“First of all, we only look at ourselves. We just have to win both games, ”says Mooslechner. Both Dorfen and Königsbrunn still need points to make the direct relegation fix. "There is still something going on for both opponents," says Mooslechner expecting difficult tasks for his team. The "ice hackers" weakened in the relegation round on foreign ice. They won only one out of five games. The Peißenbergers in Dorfen can and must polish this balance sheet.
To do this, the "ice hackers" have to get a grip on the exceptional striker of the ESC, Lukas Miculka. With the former Peißenberg coach Randy Neal, the Dorfeners also have a coach fox on the bench who knows the ice hackers inside out. The Peißenberg team decided two of the previous duels against the "ice pirates" (6: 2 and 6: 1). A game was lost in the penalty shootout (3: 4).
TSV Peißenberg: home game against Königsbrunn on Sunday
Against Königsbrunn the season record with two defeats (1: 6 and 3: 7) and one success (7: 4) is negative. With the “Penguins”, who also have very few chances for second place, there is no outstanding individual player, but a strong forward trio with Jakub Sramek, Hayden Trupp and Anton Zimmer.
The Peissenbergers can fall back on the entire squad in both games except for Samir Baloch, as Florian Höfler, who was recently sick with the flu, reported back. "The mood in the team is good, we also trained well," reports Mooslechner with satisfaction. However, the "ice hackers" were less happy with the scheduling of the home game against the "penguins". Finally, on Carnival Sunday in Peißenberg, the big carnival parade in the market town rises, which will not necessarily have a positive effect on the backdrop in the ice stadium. "Unfortunately, it was not possible to relocate," says TSV spokesman Andreas Schugg, who nevertheless hopes for proper fan support. "There is definitely time for an ice hockey game between the move and the marquee."
