1. FC Köln has left the relegation place in the Bundesliga and opponent Arminia Bielefeld overturned it.
In the 3-1 (2-0) home win, Marius Wolf (9th, 28th minute) and Elvis Rexhbecaj (62nd) met for Cologne, Sergio Cordova for the guests (73rd).
Two serious chances, two goals - 1. FC Köln presented themselves extremely efficiently in the first half.
Bielefeld's goalkeeper Stefan Ortega parried Ellyes Skhiri's header from a corner, but at Wolf's feet, who only had to push in (9th).
Arminia was challenged in terms of play after falling behind and was only able to cope with this task to a limited extent.
Ritsu Doan brought a free kick high in the middle, Sven Schipplock's header was steered decisively over the goal by the quick-reacting Timo Horn.

New signing Emmanuel Dennis, who started as the sole striker, was hardly involved in offensive actions;

A Bielefeld double change should bring the turnaround after the break, instead Skhiri used the moment of the unsorted Arminia and sent straight through to Rexhbecaj.
