Rabinovich has not yet filed a letter of defense, but in response to the warning letter he stated that: "I have spoken the truth."
According to the lawsuit, in recent weeks, there has been a huge media and public outcry over the financial situation of the Betar Jerusalem Group, as well as the conduct of the Budget Control Authority.
A few weeks ago, the former chairman of the PA, Rabinovich, was interviewed for the sports program "Five in the Air" which was broadcast live on television, in view of his status and experience, which he served for many years as chairman of the PA, to comment on the PA's conduct. However, Haluba noted in the lawsuit, unfortunately, Rabinovich, chose to take advantage of the stage given to him to defame Haluba who has nothing to do with Betar Jerusalem, in the most serious way imaginable, with deliberate intent, and attributed to him various actions, in connection with His position in the association, as well as in connection with the position and past of the plaintiff in the Hapoel Tzafririm Holon group.
"It is true to say that it did not act properly, assuming that it was known that the owners of Betar did not have coverage. "Enforce the regulations. Activists within the association instruct the people in the budget control to keep the people," Rabinowitz said in an interview.
