The VfB Hallbergmoos footballers won 3-1 at TSV Jetzendorf after falling behind.
However, it wasn't the yellow of the egg.
Hallbergmoos
– In the half-time break, coach Matthias Strohmaier had to raise his voice, after that it was okay.
Nevertheless, the last test match of the Bayern league football club VfB Hallbergmoos, who finally won 3:1 (0:1) at the newly promoted state league TSV Jetzendorf, did not go as expected.
Because of the relegation, the Hallbergmooser have to find their way in an extremely short preparation.
The plan was to first call for the defensive in test matches against teams from the regional league and then to create offensive solutions against Jetzendorf with a lot of own ball possession.
VfB also had possession of the ball – but what came out of it was useless art.
After a very weak first half, Jetzendorf deservedly took a 1-0 lead thanks to Dominic Reisner's goal (29'), and things got uncomfortable in the VfB dressing room.
The short form of Strohmaier: "If commitment and willingness to run are not right, we will also have problems against a state league team."
Another VfB was on the field in the second half
After the break, some players showed a reaction, substitute players such as David Lucksch were able to set an example.
It felt like a completely different VfB was on the field, who turned the result around with goals from Johannes Petschner (65'), Julian Kersting (78') and Cengiz Basaran (88').
That was fine in the end, but the dress rehearsal wasn't a brilliant performance.

Strohmaier calls for the basic virtues of football
"Perhaps it was a shot across the bow at the right time," said coach Strohmaier, whose team will start the points round at championship favorite TSV Landsberg next Saturday.
The trainer also makes it clear that after the exceptional physical and psychological situation with four relegation games in two weeks, you now have to do magic.
Physically, the Hallbergmooser are ready for the seriousness of everyday life in the league, in terms of play you will still have to catch up on some parts of the preparation in the first Bayernliga weeks.
Strohmaier does not expect miracles, but showed in Jetzendorf that things get uncomfortable "if the basic virtues of football are missing".
