Neuried – The footballers at TSV Neuried have seen continuous development: Fourth place in the 2017/18 district league season was followed a year later by second place and promotion to the district upper league.
In the new league, the promoted team achieved a respectable eighth place in the 2019/21 Corona season after a few teething problems, and the Neurieder team ended the past season in fourth place.
If the development continues like this, the team could definitely have a say in promotion this season.
District Oberliga Ladies: TSV Neuried wants to “attack at the top”
TSV coach Josip Hrgovic does not clearly state this goal, but he emphasizes: "We want to attack at the top." There is enough potential for this.
In the past, TSV Neuried was superior to many teams in terms of play.
The young players have already played a few games in the district league, and with Alexandra Höhne (30), Jennifer Heller (27), Franziska Schürle (27) or the playing assistant coach Emma Zielinski (32), there are also enough experienced footballers in the game squad.
There are also top-class newcomers: Central defender Sevdi Maloku and her sister Selvije, who is usually used as a striker (arrived from SV Biberbach, District Oberliga Schwaben), have a lot of quality, both played for FC Bayern Munich in their youth.
Another top reinforcement joined the team in the winter with the American Erin Aboelnour.
TSV Neuried: Complicated starting position in the coaching position

After Florian Adam's resignation at the end of the season, Helmut Mayerhofer initially took over, but ended his engagement during the preparations (we reported).
Two old friends, Hrgovic and Stefan Heller, have stepped in.
As a coaching team, they led the team to promotion to the district league in 2019.
Due to his job, however, Heller cannot be on the pitch for all three training sessions per week, and Hrgovic is also very busy as sports director and coach of the men's I and male A youth teams.
"We try that at least one of us is there for every game," says Hrgovic.
Coach Hrgovic: Triple burden as a coach is no excuse
As an excuse, he doesn't want to use his triple burden as a coach: "As long as I'm doing it, I'll do it at full throttle." In addition, the feedback from the team has been positive so far.
The TSV coach says there will only be a change of coach when a sensible and long-term solution has been found, the interim solution could take a little longer.
Hrgovic emphasizes: "There will be no quick shot."
After the last two test games that were canceled, it is now important that the team find a rhythm in the game despite all the quality they have.
Hrgovic hopes that a friendly opponent will be found for next weekend and thus before the start of the league game on September 11 against newly promoted FC Langengeisling.
