International match in Schongau: On Saturday, a German military selection with Charlotte Hoffmann from Schongau will take on England in the Lechsporthalle.

Schongau – The still young boxing department of TSV Schongau remains extremely active.

After hosting the Upper Bavarian championship last year, tomorrow, Saturday, September 3rd, it will once again provide a sporting highlight in terms of "fighting".

In the Lech sports hall, the military selection teams from Germany and England meet for a country comparison.

"It will definitely be a great event," said TSV department head Achim Hoffmann, looking forward to the evening.

His daughter Charlotte will step into the ring for the German team.

In the light welterweight division up to 64 kilograms, she meets Terri Stuart from England.

"There are also three or four more duels 'Germany versus England'," reports Hoffmann.

In the supporting program, fighters from TSV Schongau boxed

In the opening act, the Schongau boxers present themselves to the local fans.

Kawa Mohammad, Erion Maliqi, Marian Bentenrieder and Samuel Nieberle will compete in so-called singles fights in the ring.

The boxing evening in Schongau begins at 5.30 p.m. with a reception for invited guests.

Visitor admission starts at 6 p.m.

Fighting begins at 7:30 p.m.

"The end is planned for 10 p.m. and then we will dismantle again immediately," explains Hoffmann, who was a little surprised that the EA Schongau was celebrating its wine festival in the ice rink at the same time.

"The agreements within TSV obviously didn't work that way.

The date of the boxing event was already set in March,” says Hoffmann.
