Return of Lewandowski: Thomas Müller makes a serious appeal to fans

Before Bayern's Champions League game against FC Barcelona, Thomas Müller makes an urgent request to the fans.
Munich – It was a long and bitter struggle before Robert Lewandowski finally switched from FC Bayern to FC Barcelona in July 2022 for 45 million euros (plus bonuses).
The back and forth angered the fans in particular and left an unpleasant aftertaste after Lewy's long career as a striker with the record champions.
FC Bayern then regrouped with new signing Sadio Mané, but things have not been going well for Bayern in the Bundesliga in recent weeks.
Three draws in a row and third place in the table - the club does not live up to the claims that Thomas Müller made at the beginning of the season.
No wonder Müller is increasingly annoyed when asked about Lewandowski.

All the more explosive that the first meeting with Lewandowski in the Barca jersey is now pending.
FC Bayern will face FC Barcelona in the Champions League on Tuesday.
Thomas Müller had formed a congenial trio with the striker star and, despite all the theater, said goodbye to him on Instagram.
Now he has a wish for the Bayern supporters and hopes that the ex-scorer will be given a respectful reception when he performs in the Allianz Arena: "Lewy has done a great deal for the club.
Of course, as a former player in these big titles, you wish that the reception would be warm,” said Müller before the group match (9 p.m. on Prime Video).
Of course, Müller is aware that viewers will have mixed feelings when they see Lewandowski again.
But he doesn't know, says Müller, "how the fans feel about him.
They will then express their emotions."

No wonder Thomas Müller was frustrated - after all, it was the Bayern squad's worst Bundesliga start in twelve years.
Müller is known for keeping the team together and cheering them on again and again in the match.
In the game against Barca, it will take a good deal of Müller motivation to bring Bayern back to the old level.
