Before the reception of Maccabi Haifa this Tuesday, October 25 at the Parc des Princes, the mayor of Haifa asked Anne Hidalgo to give more space to Israeli supporters.

Not enough space for Israeli supporters at the Parc des Princes?

In any case, this is what the mayor of Haifa believes before the meeting between Maccabi and PSG this Tuesday evening in the Champions League.

She asked the mayor of Paris, Anne Hidalgo, to intervene in order to solve this problem.

Indeed, a gauge of 1650 spaces for visitor parking has been imposed by the Paris Police Prefecture.

This decision is problematic since thousands of Maccabi Haifa fans are expected at the Parc des Princes.

The mayor of Haifa, Einat Kalish, has therefore stepped up to the plate by asking Anne Hidalgo for more spaces, indicating that the gauge set is well below the initial capacity of visitor parking, namely 2,200 spaces.

For the moment, the town hall of Paris would not have tried to contact PSG, the main decision-maker.

About 1,500 places are reserved for Maccabi supporters for this match, while 8,000 fans are expected in Paris.

In addition, Israeli supporters are known for their very warm atmosphere in the stadiums.

The DNLH ranked the meeting between PSG and Maccabi Haifa at 3 out of 5 indicating that "risks of disturbances to public order linked to a dispute between supporters" can be expected.
