Bayern star Mané sits on the ground - and has to get out injured

At the FC Bayern Munich gala against Werder Bremen, Sadio Mané had to be replaced early on with an injury.

A diagnosis is still pending.

Munich – Before the 2022 World Cup (November 20 to December 18), the German Bundesliga record champions are in full swing: FC Bayern led Werder Bremen on Tuesday evening (November 8) in the first half (4-1 ) in places.

The Hanseatic League had no chance against the superiority.

Young star Jamal Musiala (6th minute), speed dribbler Serge Gnabry (22nd/29th) and midfield strategist Leon Goretzka (26th) ensured clear conditions in the first half hour of the south-north duel - despite a goal by Anthony Jung (10th).

The 30-year-old superstar had taken the seat quite abruptly just beforehand.

He obviously couldn't go on anymore.

Referee Robert Hartmann interrupted the game.

Team doctor Prof. Dr.

Peter Ueblacker and a supervisor ran onto the field.

They supported the attacker when he slowly got up from the green lawn - visibly in pain.

It couldn't go on for Mané.

FCB coach Julian Nagelsmann replaced the recovered German international Leroy Sané.

The leaders of the Bundesliga did not initially announce a preliminary diagnosis.

Mané is considered a revered superstar in his homeland of Senegal.

With the Africa Cup winner, the former Liverpool FC player easily qualified for the Winter World Cup in the emirate.

At the World Cup, the Senegalese national team meets in group A against the Netherlands around Bayern colleague Matthijs de Ligt (November 21), hosts Qatar (November 25) and Ecuador (November 29).
