Senior soccer players including: Shawn Weissman, Gabi Kanikovski, Ariel HaRosh, Ran Yitzhak, Dor Jean and many more, joined the "Shabbat and soccer for everyone" protest today.

The senior players, some of them religious and traditionalists, uploaded a video online in which they show support for the idea, and point out that they are also in favor of changing the day of the games, to allow religious fans to come to the soccer games in the top league.
As a reminder, yesterday Knesset member Bezalel Smotrich sent a harsh letter to the soccer association, calling yesterday to stop the holding of soccer games on Shabbat, he claimed that: "The discrimination that exists against Shabbat observers in the structure of the top soccer league must change."
