Abandoned game in the Bavarian regional league: The Munich city derby between Türkgücü Munich and the second team of FC Bayern Munich was interrupted after a few minutes and later finally called off by referee Simon Schreiner.

The reason for this was apparently an unauthorized banner from the »FC Bayern fan club Kurdistan«.

As can be seen on TV, half an hour after the start of the break, helmeted police officers with batons broke into the away fans' area to remove the banner.

Pepper spray was apparently also used.

According to the stadium announcer, a child was injured in the operation and was looking for his father.

According to eyewitness reports, several ambulances drove up to take care of other injured people.

FC Bayern Munich has not yet responded to a short-term request from SPIEGEL about the events.
