Ice hockey national league: Wanderers compete in Bayreuth

The Wanderers play in Bayreuth on Friday evening.
The game against the eighth-placed team is taken seriously, said spokesman Florian Hutterer.

– Wanderers Germering want to gain self-confidence for the promotion round in the last preliminary round game at EHC Bayreuth.
The first face-off in Upper Franconia starts at 8 p.m. (Friday, December 30).
The order with Haßfurt, Dingolfing, Wanderers and Waldkirchen at the top is fixed.
Nevertheless, the game at the bottom of the table is taken seriously, according to spokesman Florian Hutterer.
"We want to win."
But that's not the whole goal.
Above all, they want to play the final third in Ottobrunn, which the Germeringer ice hockey cracks lost 0:5, out of their heads.
"We want to prove that this catastrophic third was a one-off loss of operations," emphasizes Hutterer.
Under no circumstances should this be repeated in the promotion round, which begins on the first weekend in January.
Haßfurt and Dingolfing would have shown more consistency over the entire preliminary round.
That's why they deservedly occupy the top positions, according to Hutterer.
"We have to come back there too."
Hutterer is cautiously optimistic about the promotion round.
After the return of a few long-term injuries, you can send a good squad back into the race.
He should put the power hockey back on the ice, which was shown in the first half of the preliminary round.
Nico Rossi and Dennis Sturm, each with eleven goals so far, as well as Manuel Winkler, who has scored ten times, played a significant part in this.
"Then it's definitely possible to make the play-offs," says Hutterer.
He hopes that the Wanderers will find their form at the start of the season again.
However, the competition with Sonthofen, Trostberg, Burgau and Reichersbeuern is very strong.
