The woman said she climbed the first section of the access ramp to the castle, in Piazza Primo Maggio, to take some photos of the square in celebration. Here a man would have attacked her and abused her.
The woman then managed to grab her cell phone to try to call for help by fleeing the man. The police have started investigations with the mobile team to ascertain the contours of the story and trace the identity of the attacker. According to a first reconstruction, the girl had gone to Piazza Primo Maggio after celebrating the arrival of the new year in the company of some friends in a nearby restaurant. A few minutes had passed since midnight when the young woman reported that she had climbed the first section of the access ramp to the castle to take some photos of the square in celebration. This is where she would have been attacked and abused.
