The Secretary-General of the Jordanian Democratic Popular Unity Party (DWU), Dr. Said Diab, stressed that the establishment of the Damascus International Fair in its 61st session is a clear indication of the stability experienced by Syria and its victories on terrorism.
In a statement to SANA's correspondent in Amman, Diab pointed out that participating in this exhibition is a national and national duty for all Arab countries.
He said that "the opening of the Damascus International Fair is of great importance as it is a world-class exhibitions and it is a sure sign that the Syrian state is on the road to reconstruction and construction despite all economic measures unilateral and coercive to the Syrian people."
Diab stressed that the wide participation in the Damascus Fair is also clear evidence of the positive atmosphere prevailing in Syria and the challenge of US threats to impose sanctions on the participating companies, calling on the Jordanian government to respond to popular demands to participate in this exhibition and not to bow to US pressure.
