WASHINGTON - The US Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) today asked airlines to examine 165 aircraft

Washington-SANA

The US Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) today asked airlines to examine 165 Boeing NG aircraft within seven days for the appearance of fractures in a number of structures.

Tests have shown cracks in a small number of aircraft, the agency said.

Boeing said on Friday it was in contact with airlines using 737 NGs about the cracks.

It is noteworthy that dozens of countries stopped flights on Boeing 737 Max 8 aircraft after the fall of two of the aircraft of this model killed 346 people.
