Boeing never stops getting into trouble.
After the door torn off, a crack found in the cockpit or even the engine catching fire, the American aircraft manufacturer has just seen one of its aircraft lose a wheel as the plane was preparing to take off.
While the Delta Air Lines Boeing 757 was preparing to take off from Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (United States) to Bogota (Colombia), “the front wheel came off and rolled downhill,” says a preliminary notice of the incident filed by the United States Civil Aviation Authority (FAA), responsible for regulations and controls concerning civil aviation.

According to this report, none of the 184 passengers nor any of the six crew members of this plane were injured.
A spokesperson for the American airline said the passengers had been transferred to a replacement flight, said the New York Times, which broke the story Tuesday evening.
A 32 year old device
The American media also specifies that Boeing refused to comment on the incident and directed its questions to the airline.
The FAA told the newspaper it was continuing its investigation into the incident.
According to the site specializing in airlines and airliners Airfleets, the aircraft concerned is 32 years old and the incident could therefore be due to a maintenance defect and not a design defect, unlike several 737 Max.
Boeing is having a complicated start to 2024 after the few incidents that have occurred on its aircraft in recent days.
Recently, the travel search site Kayak offered its less reassured users the possibility of checking an option allowing them to avoid the 737 Max.
