"We must build together a reflection and advance on the subject in a constructive and serene way possible. This is what will explain Loïg Chesnais-Girard (PS), the President of the Region, today during the re-entry session of the Regional Council. He will announce the implementation of an approach leading to a regional charter, across Brittany, especially to take into account the distance between the application of plant protection products and the first homes. But the Region does not want to limit itself to this one question. It wants to go further with the creation of pilot areas where farmers would simply give up chemicals. They would then be accompanied technically. First step of this whole process: a working group led by the three vice-presidents of the Region in charge of the environment, agriculture and research.
