The Loyalty to the Parliamentary Resistance Bloc in Lebanon condemned the American interventions in the internal affairs of the countries of the region and policies based on blackmailing the peoples, stressing that these interventions and policies are the main reason for the chaos that is intended to be generalized in various countries in our region in order to confiscate its national decision and control its fate and the future of its children for the benefit of American and Israeli interests.
The bloc said in a statement after its meeting today that there are legitimate questions imposed by the resignation of Saad Hariri, both on the real reasons and justifications or about the timing and goals and objectives of the resignation, saying that this resignation will contribute to wasting time available to implement reforms and to approve the general budget for 2020 and will increase the chances of complications to enter the line the crisis.
The bloc expressed the hope that the parliamentary consultations binding on the nomination of the president-designate will follow its natural course in order to initiate the formation of an honest and credible government capable of carrying out the tasks required of it both in terms of achieving monetary and economic stability or in terms of strengthening the spirit of national reconciliation and resolutely confronting corruption and corrupt files.
The bloc called on all security and military services, especially the Lebanese army, to carry out their national responsibilities to ensure the security of the country and citizens and protect their right to freedom of expression and movement within all Lebanese territory without any hesitation or delay.
The head of the Executive Council of Hezbollah, Hashim Safiuddin, said that what is needed now is a government that meets the cries, needs and living of the people and convince them that it is honest and away from the dictates of embassies and foreign countries.
Safiuddin said in a speech today that these basic conditions, if available, can the government that will come to address the problems.
On the other hand, the head of the Syrian Social Nationalist Party Fares Saad and the Vice-President of the Political Council in Hezbollah and Minister of State for Parliamentary Affairs in the caretaker government Mahmoud Qamati during a meeting that included delegations from both parties the need to approach what is happening in Lebanon on the basis of the supreme national interest and keenness to protect Stability and civil peace and ensure the security and safety of the Lebanese.
The two sides considered that "all political exploitation of the pain and demands of the people is linked to agendas and political projects. What is required is to end all attempts of exploitation and politicization and that the state should assume its responsibilities to stop the downward path that aims to undermine its foundations in Lebanon."
The two sides stressed on "adhering to the constants of Lebanon and its options and elements of its strength because they are fortifying factors for Lebanon and the unity of the Lebanese."
