Tehran-Sana
The head of Iran's Atomic Energy Organization Ali Akbar Salehi said that the steps taken by Iran in the reduction of its obligations fall within the framework of the nuclear agreement with the major powers and not outside.
Salehi said in a statement yesterday that "the steps of his country comes in accordance with Article 26 of the nuclear agreement, which includes that Iran can reduce its obligations if the other party does not fulfill its obligations," expressing the hope that the other party to return to its senses and implement its obligations.
Salehi pointed to his country's intention to start the process of pouring concrete in the second unit of the Bushehr nuclear plant today in addition to the start of the third unit in the near future, indicating that the formwork will be symbolic because it started before that and will continue work.
Salehi described the construction of the second and third units at the Bushehr nuclear plant as "the largest project in the country at a cost of $ 10 billion."
