The theme of the day: U-turn in the US Middle East policy
The US government no longer sees any violation of international law in Israeli settlements in the West Bank. US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo said Monday in Washington. (See the explanation in the video here). It is another important U-turn in the US Middle East policy.
Under President Donald Trump, the country has already moved its embassy to Jerusalem and recognized the affiliation of the annexed Golan Heights to Israel. Now Washington has finally put itself on the side of the strongest in the conflict.
