The theme of the day: showcases at the CDU party congress
Can he really keep his feet still? At the CDU party congress in Leipzig not only the chairman Annegret Kramp Karrenbauer, but also Friedrich Merz will give a speech. The former leader of the group has promised not to conduct "staff discussions". But nevertheless the appearance of the two top politicians will be followed with tension.
