Iran strongly condemned US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo's announcement on Israeli settlements in the occupied Palestinian territories.
Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Abbas Mousavi said in a statement today that the announcement reaffirms the US partnership with the Zionists in occupying the Palestinian territories and the crimes of this entity in Palestine and the region, stressing that the practices of the Americans and their statements regarding the situation in occupied Palestine constitute serious violations of international law.
"Pompeo should be free from the ideas of the 18th century where the people of power saw themselves above international law and order," Mousavi said, calling on the international community to act to oppose and confront these arrogant policies.
