Deir Ezzor-Sana
Deir ez-Zor Health Directorate has launched an awareness campaign to prevent the remnants of the events witnessed by the governorate, especially the city of Deir ez-Zor during the previous years before the defeat of the terrorist organization "IS".
Dr. Ghada Katawi, head of the Child Protection Program, said the campaign aims to educate children about the remnants of war, such as unexploded ordnance, UFOs, improvised explosive devices (IEDs) and mines.
Dr. Katawi pointed out the necessity of not tampering with and approaching UFOs to deal with them.
The coordinator of the program, Abdul Salam Al-Taleb, said that the campaign lasts for a week.
A number of families expressed their thanks for this initiative, which contributes to the protection of their children from the dangers of the remnants of terrorist organizations.
