Former Knesset Member Geula Cohen passed away at the age of 94
Cohen started her career in the 1970s as a MK in the Likud and later founded a Resistance Party.

Former Knesset Member Geula Cohen passed away tonight (Wednesday) at the age of 94. Cohen served as Likud and Resurrection MK for 20 years, as well as Deputy Minister of Science. Cohen is the mother of Minister Tzahi Hanegbi. Her funeral date has yet to be announced.
Cohen started her career in the 1970s as a MK in the Likud and later founded a Resurrection Party. Jordan and the Palestinians Cohen won the Israel Prize in 2003 and 2014 lit a beacon at the Independence Day equation ceremony.
