To celebrate the coming of Christmas and New Year, and to affirm the bonds of love and brotherhood, this evening took place in a celebratory atmosphere lighting the birth tree of Christ the Messenger of Love and Peace in front of the Reem Tower in the city of Sweida in the presence of a large crowd of civil and official activities.

The celebration organized by the "Our Arms Our Charitable Association" in cooperation with the Syrian Arab Venezuelan Friendship Association accompanied by the launching of fireworks, lights, music and birthday songs and the distribution of gifts to about 150 children from the Social Welfare Association and the branch of the Syrian Association for the Physically Disabled.

A member of the People's Assembly and the board of directors of the “Our Weapons Charitable Association” Moein Nasr indicated that the event comes as an affirmation of the bonds of love and brotherhood among the members of the Syrian society and the unity and cohesion of its fabric across its spectrum, which stood and stood in the face of the aggressive terrorist war against Syria, and won thanks to the heroism and sacrifices of the valleys of our army, the blood of its martyrs and the wisdom of its leadership.

In turn, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Syrian-Venezuelan Arab Friendship Association, Omar Nasr, pointed out that today's celebration aims to sow joy and joy in the hearts of children, to embody the meanings of national cohesion and express the victories achieved by the Syrian Arab Army against terrorism and its supporters, and to invite all expatriates to return to the homeland and participate in the return Reconstruction.

For his part, Father Philip Muammar from the Archdiocese of Bosra, Horan and Jabal Al-Arab told the Greek Orthodox who attended the celebration that it reflects an honest image of peace, love and joint action to help every needy person, stressing that the joy is great and common with our victories on terrorism thanks to the heroism of our Syrian Arab army and the blood of its pure martyrs so that peace returns to the four Motherland.

The director of the Endowments Endowments Office, Sheikh Najdu Al-Ali, pointed out that the celebration embodies the reality of the Syrian people, who live in one family, and brought down the cohesion, steadfastness and sacrifices of the project of the enemies of the country, and triumphed over terrorism, and we will triumph over the economic terrorism practiced thanks to the cohesion, unity, love and awareness of this people.

In turn, both Yosra and Asma al-Taqi, Hakamat, and the Emirate of Naeem, who live in Venezuela and are coming to visit their families, considered these celebrations as evidence of Syria's recovery and victory and the return of security and safety to it thanks to the sacrifices and heroism of its valiant army.

The children Danny, Catherine Hanna, Karim and Hala Choucair also expressed their happiness with the lighting of the Christmas tree, fireworks, lights, and music, with a smile on their faces as they took pictures with Santa in front of the tree.
