After the accident, two drivers and three female motorcycle passengers were injured and were taken to Princess Margaret Hospital for treatment. Among them, the male driver of the motorcycle was in a coma. Police are investigating the cause of the accident.
Sources said that the taxi and motorcycle heads collided. At that time, the Changqing Tunnel implemented a single tube, two-way, three-lane traffic. It was suspected that one of the cars crossed the opposite line and caused an accident. Affected by the traffic accident, only one lane was opened at the scene.
