The Wafa Parliamentary Bloc in Lebanon condemned the attempt of the Israeli occupation to assassinate Bishop Atallah Hanna, Archbishop of Sebastia of the Greek Orthodox in occupied Jerusalem.
The bloc said in a statement today after its periodic meeting headed by Representative Muhammad Raad that this Israeli terrorist act targeting the life of Bishop Hanna shows the reality of this entity based on terrorism and criminality.
The bloc condemned the continuous Israeli violations of Lebanese sovereignty, which take multiple forms, stressing that the urgent priority of the internal situation of Lebanon after the designation of the president in charge of forming the government is to activate the effort to form an effective and productive cabinet that includes competencies with competence and a humanitarian and national sense and works systematically to address the crises that the country suffers .
