A gathering of Jordanian media and intellectuals for the sake of Syria condemned the "support" of the assassination of the commander of the Quds Force in the Iranian Revolutionary Guards, Lieutenant General Qassem Soleimani, and the deputy head of the Iraqi Popular Mobilization Committee, indicating that this crime will increase the axis of the resistance in cohesion, determination and steadfastness.
The assembly stressed in a statement that this heinous crime came in retaliation for the role of the two martyrs in defeating the ISIS terrorist organization after the failure of the Takfiri agents to implement the American Zionist project in the region, which requires uniting and consolidating the ranks of the resistance forces.
The assassination was a blatant violation of the security of our Arab national nation, and it exposed the complicit Arab rulers who did not fulfill their duty to fortify the fronts of the Arab countries, but they created the appropriate climate for the successive and ongoing Zionist-American attacks.
The statement expressed absolute confidence that the near future carries with it a supportive victory for the liberation forces and the axis of resistance and expedites the defeat of the Zionist-American project.
