East of Yau Ma Tei Nepal men's shop suspected of extortion

At about midnight on Friday (17th), the police received a report from a Nepalese male proprietor of a shop on Yau Ma Tei Temple Street. He alleged that he was ransom for money by two other fellow residents. After he refused, the other side attacked and hurt his hand. Escape without a trace. After the police arrived for investigation, the case was classified as "extortion" and "actual physical injury caused by the attack."

After the police arrived to investigate, the case was classified as "extortion" and "actual physical injury caused by the attack". The Yau Tsim Police District Criminal Investigation Team has taken over the follow-up; the victim was sent to Guanghua Hospital for treatment.
