Today, protests renewed in a number of Lebanese cities, calling for improving the living conditions and holding the corrupt accountable.

The National Information Agency said, “Three demonstrations started in Beirut and gathered for some time in front of the Association of Banks’ Association. Some protesters destroyed the association’s external façade, and protesters gathered in front of the EDL building, chanting slogans calling for accountability for thieves and corrupt while others gathered in front of the Palace of Justice building. To demand the prompt intervention of the judiciary to hold the corrupt accountable. ”

In the riots of Riad El-Solh and Al-Shuhadaa, in downtown Beirut, demonstrators gathered to protect the security forces and the Lebanese army, and called for getting rid of corruption and theft and recovering the stolen money, affirming their rejection of the existing financial policies and paying more taxes.

In solidarity with the Palestinian people, the demonstrators raised Palestinian flags and chanted slogans denouncing the so-called "deal of the century".

In Tripoli, a demonstration was launched to protest the living situation and hold the corrupt accountable.

Since October 17, Lebanon has witnessed sit-ins and demonstrations calling for an improvement in the living conditions and accountability for the corrupt.
