The Russian Coordination Center announced that terrorists violated the cessation of hostilities agreement in Idlib 6 times today by attacking residential areas and locations of the Syrian Arab Army in Aleppo and Lattakia countryside.
The head of the Russian Coordination Center, Major General Oleg Goravlyov, said in a press statement that the terrorists fired 6 times on residential neighborhoods in the de-escalation zone in Idlib, after the announcement of the cessation of hostilities system.
Goravlyov said that 6 violations have been monitored since the agreement took effect at midnight last night, as terrorists opened fire on the areas of Kafr Halal, Khirbet Jazaria, Aleppo Governorate, and the locations of the Syrian army in the Kabbani and Akko area of Lattakia Governorate.
Yesterday, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced that an agreement had been reached to stop hostilities in Idlib at the current situation, noting that the agreement affirmed the commitment to Syrian unity and sovereignty, and continued combating terrorism there.
