Iranian authorities reported that the number of people in the Islamic Republic reached 12,729. The death toll from the virus in Iran reached 611 people, 97 of whom were added in the last day.

The Arab media quoted senior officials in Iran as saying that the regime is expected to make a full-day decision on the closure in the coming days in an attempt to stem the spread of the epidemic. It was also reported that the Basij forces would send to patrol the streets of the city and make sure that the civilians adhered to the closure and isolation provisions.

Meanwhile, Hezbollah Secretary-General Hassan Nasrallah spoke on Friday in the shadow of rumors circulating in recent days that he has been forced to go into isolation due to the spread of the Corona virus. In a speech, Nasrallah said that all allegations made in Lebanon "that his organization hid infectious cases" .

Nasrallah addressed the spread of the virus worldwide and urged Lebanese citizens to consider themselves as partners in the fight against the virus. "The virus does not distinguish between religions and borders. We must behave in a humane way with each other. This is not the time for revenge and the elimination of political accounts," said Hezbollah's secretary general. He said it was a "logical and religious duty".
