Spain has become the third global focus of the spread of the Corona epidemic. On Saturday, another 285 people died of the fatal virus and the country's number of victims of the disease reached 1,378.

The number of people infected with the disease rose by 3,809 yesterday and crossed the 25,000 threshold. The rapid increase in the number of victims is attributed to the very slow response of the government and population to the spread of the epidemic, even though about one-fifth of Spain's total population of 50 million is people over 65.

The Spanish left government, which is a minority government, is facing increasing criticism over the slowness of the response to the disease, which, according to critics, is the prime minister's fear of criticizing his constituency for imposing restrictions on the population. The Spanish government decided just a week ago, when the queen was already raging in the country, to declare a national emergency and a general closure for only two weeks.

In the United Kingdom, where the government decided to revert to the "herd vaccination" policy, a number of corona victims have jumped this weekend: 53 dead were added yesterday, and the number of victims now rises to 233. The government, which decided against its initial position to close schools across the kingdom, has condemned public hysteria, which has led to empty shopping centers in the country.

Minister of Environment and Food, George Justice, called on UK residents: 'Be responsible and think of others. If you buy a diet of what you need, you make others stay without food. It makes life more difficult for those on the front line facing the epidemic - doctors, nurses and the medical staff of the public health system. " The minister has made it clear that Britain has enough food to cope with the current crisis.

In the Netherlands and Belgium, there was a sharp rise in the number of coroners dead yesterday: 40 patients died in each of the two countries. The number of dead in the Netherlands now stands at 136 and in Belgium at 67. Belgium has declared a fairly extensive closure, unlike the Netherlands.

The Dutch government returned to it this weekend from a decision to close the cafes selling cannabis products, especially in Amsterdam, for fear that this move would increase drug trafficking in the country.

While Germany is still considering the possibility of imposing a general closure on the country, the number of dead has risen by 9 to 77 and the number of people infected by 2,006 to 21,854. Additional deaths were reported in Austria, Sweden and Denmark as well. A significant increase in the number of dead was recorded in Portugal, Spain's neighbor - where the number of virus victims in the last day rose from 6 to 12.
