A new survey shows a  broad rejection of the population to the release of prisoners , through home prison, to protect them from the coronavirus. Clarín published a survey in the metropolitan area of the consulting firm Aresco over the weekend and now there were two firms that jointly made a new national measurement: Federico González and Raúl Aragón & Asociados . In addition to ratifying the questioning of these judicial decisions, more than 50% of those surveyed believed that Cristina Kirchner promoted them .

The work includes a survey of 3,000 telephone cases , surveyed between April 28 and May 3. Both González and Aragón worked in electoral campaigns for Sergio Massa, although now they assure that they carry out these polls independently.

They start with some classic questions first during the pandemic. And these numbers stand out:

- What image do you have of President Alberto Fernández? 53.4% good / 10.4% very good; and 12.2% bad / 5.1% very bad.

- How do you rate the government's management regarding the coronavirus? 66.9% good / 14.2% very good.

- Do you agree with the extension of the quarantine? 78% answered yes.

- What is your opinion of Cristina Kirchner? 48.7% bad / 7.7% very bad; 22.3% good / 9.2% very good.

- What is your opinion of Sergio Massa? 34.5% good / 7.1% very good; 18.7% bad / 3.3% very bad.

Then, the survey does advance on the specific issue of detainee releases: " Do you agree with the release of prisoners at risk? " Rejection is very high, with 81.8% "no" and 8.9% approval. 2.9% endorses it but only "relatively".

Next, the question about the political motivations of the topic appears. "According to you, who do you think is behind the releases?", González and Aragón ask. 50.9% answered that "they are promoted by Cristina Fernández de Kirchner" . For 27.4%, "it is a free initiative of some guarantee judges"; and for 13% "they are promoted by the Government of Alberto Fernández".

Despite this presumption, which places the vice president at the top of suspicions, most identify the judges and the President as the main targets of the cacerolazos .

- "You know that there have been cacerolazos for the releases linked to the release of prisoners due to the coronavirus problem. In your opinion, this protest was mainly directed at ... ". The judges added 32.6%, Fernández 29.6% and Cristina 15.3%.

"And who do you think participated in the majority of the cacerolazos?" It leads "the middle class" (44.6%), followed by the "upper class" (24.1%) and the "lower class" (8.8%).

The prisoners chapter closes with another question involving Massa. "Do you agree with the request for impeachment that Sergio Massa, as President of the Chamber of Deputies, has asked for judges who have granted house arrest to criminals who did not correspond to them?" According to the consultancy, 47% agree "totally" and 35.1% "agree".
