Four thieves broke into a jewelry salesman's shop in Petah Tikva last Tuesday and stole a suitcase full of jewelry. They probably thought that thanks to the masks they wore, they couldn't identify them, but one thing they didn't consider - the tracing device that was in the suitcase. Thus, the members of the Ituran company led the police officers straight to the exact location of the thieves.

According to an initial investigation, the jewelry salesman went to explosion in Petah Tikva, got off the vehicle, and when two masked men arrive, broke into his vehicle and stole a bag of expensive jewelry worth hundreds of thousands of shekels. When the jewelry agent returned to the car and found out he had been hacked and the suitcase was stolen, he immediately reported it to them. "A suitcase was found in the suitcase, and as soon as the jewelry agent reported to us, we identified the location of the suitcase in Rosh Ha'ayin," said Eyal Sa'ar, the manager of the detecting facility.

"When we arrived we noticed the signal from where we came from, we operated a device that could identify which apartment it was in, it was in a warehouse, we peeked in and saw the guys sitting and handing out the loot. The police knocked on the door and when they opened, the goods were seized and they arrested them," explained Saar.

The four suspects were taken into custody today at the Petah Tikva Magistrate's Court. A police representative said all four had the right to remain silent. He further said that once you caught them, they arranged the loot stolen from the same bag in boxes.

The lawyer for three of the suspects, Adv. Eyal Ohayon, asked the court to release the three for house arrest and said: "What a sophistication they were here. They broke the window with an unidentified object and took the case. We are all shocked. This is news to the mornings. Let's go a step further. There is no danger that the property will disappear, it is in the hands of the investigating unit, the low-intensity arrest warrant, all married with children, there are those without a criminal record. Petach Tikva Magistrate's Court Judge Ophir Rivlin did not accept the defense and stated that there was a reasonable suspicion that they had committed what they were doing and ordered them to be jailed for five days. "I have looked at the investigative material and I believe that there is a reasonable suspicion that each of the suspects is being charged with the offenses. The offenses attributed to the suspects are establishing dangerous types of arrest in the face of the misdemeanor, the prior planning and theft, as well as the fear of disrupting investigative proceedings," the judge wrote in her decision.
