The 53-year celebration of Jerusalem's liberation will be held Thursday throughout the capital of Israel. One of the centers of the festivities is the solemn prayer at the Western Wall Square, attended by the Chief Rabbis, Rabbi of the Western Wall, the Mayor of Jerusalem and the Minister of Jerusalem and Heritage. From 19:30 to 20:30, the Wall will also be joined by Jewish communities from around the world and members of youth movements in Jerusalem.

After a legal battle, during a hearing in the High Court, the parties reached an agreed outline regarding the events. Participation in all the events is free and pre-registration on the site: "Dance Flags".

The first event, which is suitable for families with children, is the caravan from Teddy car park through the city, the Knesset, around the ancient gates to the Western Wall. Hundreds of vehicles with Israeli flags are expected to leave Teddy Stadium parking lot at 5:45 p.m.

"The Holy City of La Pilate and we hoped for 2,000 years of exile to return to it. Our blessings that we have won in our generation to bring Jerusalem to the top of our joy, and to spread a blessing of peace and brotherhood to all corners of the world."

"Jerusalem is celebrating 53 years of unification this year and it is precisely these days of convergence that have been forced upon us because of the Corona virus. We want to reach and touch everyone's hearts," noted Jerusalem Mayor Moshe Leon. "As part of the solemn prayer of Jerusalem Day that we started last year's tradition, we will celebrate with the entire nation of Israel, young and old, small and large, residents of Israel and residents of communities throughout the world out of true union and connection. This year we will reach dozens of communities around the world and together we will celebrate Jerusalem Day from the Western Wall. As mayor of Jerusalem, I would like to congratulate you: 'Happy Jerusalem holiday'.
