At 11 o'clock this morning (18th), the police received a report that a suspected floating body was washed up on the rocky beach from the beach in Longgu Beach, Tuen Mun. The ambulancemen arrived and found a man aged about 20 to 30 years old who was certified dead on the spot. Initial investigations revealed that the men's blue-grey short-sleeved top, blue life jacket and green shorts were wearing a silver neck chain. There were about 20 cm scars on the neck and no ID card was found. After preliminary investigation, the police believed that the incident was not suspicious, and the cause of death of the deceased had to be determined after the autopsy.
At 10 am this Monday, someone reported that there was an incomplete male body on the beach of Longgutan. After receiving the report, the police rushed to the scene and found that only half of the body was left, and the head and waist were missing. The case was subsequently referred to the Criminal Investigation Team of Tuen Mun Police District for follow-up.
